WECREATE KENYA serves as an entrepreneurial community center for women interested in starting or expanding an existing business. The Center provides mentoring, business connections, specialized training, connections to the community, media attention, access to markets and capital along with the technical tools and resources necessary for taking any business to the next level.
Supported by the U.S. Department of State, the Women’s Entrepreneurial Centers of Resources, Education, Access, and Training for Economic Empowerment (WECREATE) will hold its public launch in Nairobi, Kenya tomorrow to open its doors to as many women entrepreneurs as possible.
Launched by the Department to empower women and promote entrepreneurship globally, WECREATE KENYA Center is one of the three centers announced by President Obama during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) held in Nairobi on July 2015.

The incubator will build the capacity of women business owners and support women-led businesses as they transition from entities operating in the informal economy to formally registered companies. The Center will provide women with trained mentors to assist women entrepreneurs through business challenges, educational programs on entrepreneurship and access to technological resources.
